Washington Concert & A Special Book

Wow, May was a busy busy exciting month! Now that its June I feel like I can relax a little and have a little more time to share some more of what I was up to in May.

Last month I went to see Washington perform at The Gov.

If your not in Australia, chances are you haven't heard of Washington? Acutally I hadn't heard alot of her music either until earlier this year, and I have been listening to it ever since.

I took a few photos on the night although theyre not the best quality.

If you haven't heard any of Washington's songs, go ahead have a listen :) ....

I love this next song which is completely different to the one above, and deffinately profer to listen to it sung live instead of edited.

If you have a listen I would love to know what you think :)

On a completely different subject...

I just had to share this sweet book I bought with you...

I wanted a nice book to use for engagement party/wedding planning, I thought this will be perfect :) Weve started thinking about planning our engagement party for later this year which is pretty exciting! I can't believe its already been a month yesterday since we got engaged, wow! Thankyou to those of you who have recommended wedding blogs to me, I will be checking them all out soon.

Hope you have a nice week where ever you may be :)

What a wonderful book and idea! If you want to check all sort of ideas, I can only recommend "The Offbeat Bride", many entries with all sort of the recommendations that include not-so-usual ideas & vendors, even if you go for a bit more traditional stuff, it's still got plenty of great ideas!

Aww that red book is very sweet. I like the quote and the typography. I'm at a conference so can't listen to the video right now but I had a little giggle at her bowl cut!

The music is adorable, and so is she! It kinda reminds me of The Strokes with female vocals. I'm glad you had fun at the show! And how nice that you're finding some lovely inspiration for your wedding. Have you tried Pinterest? There are a ton of ideas there for photography, decorations, fashion, and all that fun stuff... http://pinterest.com/search/?q=wedding
